Claims
Claims for Damage During Shipment
If your unit was damaged during shipment, you must file a claim with the carrier. Hypertherm will furnish you
with a copy of the bill of lading upon request. If you need additional assistance, call our Customer Service
department at 1-800-643-0030 or Field Service at 1-800-643-9878.
Claims for Defective or Missing Merchandise
All units shipped from Hypertherm undergo rigorous quality control inspections for defects. If any of the
merchandise is defective or missing, call your distributor. He will be able to help you. If you need additional
assistance, call our Customer Service department at 1-800-643-0030 or Field Service at 1-800-643-9878.
Upon Receipt
The system is shipped mounted on skid(s) and protected by heavy carton covers. Before unpacking, inspect
the cartons for evidence of damage during shipment. If there is evidence of damage, refer to
Claims for
Damage During Shipment
for details.
1. Remove the units and items from the shipping cartons.
2. Verify that the components of the system, optional units, cables and hoses, and items listed below are
included.
Alert your distributor or Hypertherm if any of the items are damaged or missing. All communications
regarding this equipment must include the model number and serial number (located on the back of the
power supply). Refer to

for details.
