3.3.2 Power / Ground Connections
3.3.2.1 Alternating Current (AC) Power Connectors
Two AC power supplies – one primary, one backup – are provided. For each, a
standard, detachable, non-locking 3-prong power cord (IEC plug) supplies the
Alternating Current (AC) power to the CRS-280L. Observe the following:
3.3.2.2 Direct Current (DC) Power Connectors (optional)
Two DC power supplies – one primary, one backup – are
optionally available. For each, a standard, 3-screw terminal block
with fuse holder supplies the Direct Current (DC) power to the
CRS-280L. Observe the following:
3.3.2.3 Ground Connector
A #10-32 stud, located to the lower left hand side of the CRS-280L rear panel, is
provided for connecting a common chassis ground among equipment.
Note: The AC power connector provides the safety ground.
IMPORTANT
For continued operator safety, always replace fuses with the correct type and
rating.
