RENAME A CLIP
If you are encoding a single clip from the Bin panel, the name of the clip that is displayed in REDCINE-X PRO
will be the name of the movie that is displayed in the REDRAY on-screen display.
NOTE: If you are going to add multiple clips to the Timeline and encode those clips into a single clip, skip this
procedure; you will have the option to select a new name when you encode your clips.
If you want to rename the clip so that a different name displays in the REDRAY on-screen display, follow the
instructions below:
1. Right-click the clip in the Bin panel.
2. Select Rename.
3. Enter the new name.
4. Click Accept.
RED recommends a maximum name length of 24 characters, since this is the maximum displayable name
length in the REDRAY on-screen display.
