CONNECTING THE WATER LINE
9. CONNECT THE TUBING TO THE
REFRIGERATOR
NOTES:
• Before making the connection to the refrigerator, be
sure the refrigerator power cord is not piugged into
the waii outiet.
• if your refrigerator does not have a water fiiter,
we recommend instaiiing one if your water suppiy
has sand or particies that couid ciog the screen of
the refrigerator's water vaive. instaii the fiiter in the
water iine near the refrigerator.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use oid, worn or used wateriines,
oniy use new for a better use and service.
Connect oniy to the suppiy of drinking water for your
safety and heaith.
1. Remove the piastic fiexibie
cap from the water vaive.
2. Piace the compression nut
and ferruie (sieeve) onto
the end of the tubing as shown.
3. insert the end of the copper tubing into the
connection as far as possibie. Whiie hoiding the
tubing, tighten the fitting.
0 CAUTION:
Check to see if ieaks occur at water iine
connections.
10. TURN THE WATER ON AT THE
SHUTOFF VALVE
Tighten any connections that ieak.
Reattach the compressor compartment access cover.
11. PLUG IN THE REFRIGERATOR
Arrange the coii of tubing so that it does not vibrate
against the back of the refrigerator or against the
waii. Push the refrigerator back to the waii.
12. START THE ICEMAKER
Set the icemaker power switch to the ON position.
The icemaker wiii not begin to operate untii it reaches
its operating temperature of 15 °F (-9 °C) or beiow. it
wiii then begin operation automaticaiiy if the
icemaker power switch is in the i (on) position.

Check to see if water dripping occurs at
water iine connections.
