AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL
Note: To use the touchscreen controls, see the Touchscreen climate
controls in the Navigation System chapter.
A. CLIMATE: Control the system through the touchscreen display.
See Touchscreen functions later in this section.
B. Rear defrost: Turns the heated windows and mirrors off and on.
See Heated windows and mirrors later in this chapter for more
information. If your vehicle is equipped with heated mirrors, this button
turns them on also.
C. A/C: Press to turn air conditioning off and on. Air conditioning cools
the vehicle using outside air. To improve air conditioning when starting
your vehicle, drive with the windows slightly open for two to three
minutes.
Use air conditioning with recirculated air to improve cooling performance
and efficiency.
Note: Air conditioning turns on automatically in MAX A/C, Defrost and
Floor/Defrost.
D. Passenger temperature control: Press to increase or decrease the
air temperature on the passenger side of the vehicle.
E. Passenger heated seat control (if equipped): Turn the passenger
heated seat off and on. See Heated seats in the Seats chapter for more
information.
