rAPid FlOW inSTAllATiOn
Important: It is illegal in all 50 states and Canada to remove the catalytic converter, or the Diesel particulate Filter.
REMOVaL Of STOCk ExhaUST SySTEM
In these steps you will remove the stock exhaust
system.
1.Use a 15mm socket to loosen band clamp directly
behind the muffler.
2. To make removing the Hangers an
easier process it is recommended that
you use a silicone spray lubricant to
spray each of the rubber isolators
holding the stock exhaust.
3. Remove tail pipe from
rubber isolators and gen-
tly rock back and forth
to remove tail pipe from
muffler.
4. Loosen band clamp
in front of muffler or be-
hind the diesel particu-
late filter, remove muffler from
grommets and rock gently to remove muffler.
Loosen clamp behind the Muffler
Remove Tail Pipe
Loosen clamp in front of muffler or
behind the Diesel Particulate Filter.
Remove muffler
Note: If installing exhaust system on a
Mega Cab, removal of a straight pipe
will be required from the DPF to the
Muffler.
