11. Remove the OEM upper A-arms using a 15mm socket.
12. Disconnect the OEM tie rods from the OEM rack & pinion steering
unit. (See Photo # 6)
13. Install & jam the supplied 12mm nuts against the OEM nuts of the
OEM rack & pinion steering unit using two 18mm wrenches. (See
Photo # 7)
14. Connect the OEM tie rods back to the OEM rack & pinion steering
unit.
15. Remove the OEM bushings & sleeves from the OEM upper & lower
A-arms. (See Photo # 8)
16. Apply a thin layer of grease to the new Skyjacker bushings & OEM
sleeves & install them into the new Skyjacker upper & lower A-arms.

17. Remove the retaining ring from the OEM ball joint of each OEM upper
& lower A-arm using retaining ring pliers. (See Photo # 9)
18. Remove the OEM ball joint from each OEM upper & lower A-arm
using an arbor press or similar tool. Note: Be careful not to damage
the OEM ball joints. (See Photo # 10)
19. Install an OEM ball joint into each new Skyjacker upper & lower A-arm
using an arbor press or similar tool. Note: Be careful not to damage
the OEM ball joints. (See Photo # 11)
20. Install a retaining ring to each OEM ball joint of the new Skyjacker
upper & lower A-arms using retaining ring pliers. (See Photo # 9)
