STEP 1
Read and understand all steps in the instructions before starting the installation. Park the motor-
cycle on a hard, level surface and turn off the ignition. Let the engine and exhaust cool.
BIKE PREP:
STEP 2
Remove both saddlebags to expose the saddlebag mounting brackets.
PIC 1. Refer to owners/service manual for proper procedure. Set the sad-
dlebags aside on a soft, sturdy surface.
PRE-ASSEMBLY:
STEP 3
Locate and become familiar with the contents of the hardware kit. Keep the
hardware kit within arms reach of your work area.
STEP 4
Determine the clutch-side (left) Fixed Mount from the brake-side (right).
PIC 2 Set the Fixed Mounts within arms reach of the saddlebag area on the
correct side.
STEP 5
Insert one of the included #10-24 X 7/8” Button Socket Cap Screws
through one of the included #10-24 Lock Washers, and #10-24 Flat Wash-
ers. Set the screw with washers within arms reach of the brake-side saddlebag area.
FIXED MOUNT INSTALLATION:
STEP 6
Refer to PIC 3. Maneuver the front end of the brake-side Fixed Mount underneath the front sad-
dlebag bracket tube (

). Slide the Fixed Mount backward so that the rear “fork” of the Fixed
Mount engages the rear saddlebag bracket tube (

). Rotate the mount upward so the front “fork”
engages the front saddlebag bracket tube (

).
STEP 7
Slide one of the included Thick Washers between the saddlebag bracket and Fixed Mount. Align
the Thick Washer with the hole in the LOWER saddlebag bracket. FIG 1
STEP 8
Holding the Fixed Mount in place, insert the #10-24 screw with washers (from STEP 5) through
the LOWER hole and Thick Washer as shown in FIG 1.
STEP 9
Thread the #10-24 screw into the Fixed Mount weld-nut. Leave loose for now. FIG 1

AND EXHAUST SYSTEM DURING INSTALLA-
TION. ENSURE THAT THE ENGINE AND EX-
HAUST SYSTEM HAVE FULLY COOLED TO PRE-
VENT INJURY.
