Electromagnetic fields (EmF)

This Philips appliance complies with all standards regarding

electromagnetic fields (EMF). If handled properly and according to the

instructions in this user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on

scientific evidence available today.

preparing for use

Clean the cone and the jug before you use the appliance for the

first time (see chapter ‘Cleaning’).

If necessary, store excess cord around the base of the

appliance (Fig. 1).

Put the plug in the wall socket.

Switch on the appliance by pressing a halved citrus fruit firmly onto

the cone (Fig. 2).

Remove the cone, take the jug from the motor unit and pour out

the juice (Fig. 3).

Cleaning

Cleaning the appliance and its parts is easiest immediately after use.
Never immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the tap.

Unplug the appliance.

Remove the cone and jug from the appliance (Fig. 4).

Rinse the cone and jug under a hot tap (Fig. 5).

Note: The cone and the jug are dishwasher-safe. If you clean them in the

dishwasher, place them on the top shelf of the dishwasher.

Clean the motor unit with a moist cloth.
