Instructions for safe use
Introduction
This product is designed with safety as an important feature and according to
international safety standards.
Read and follow these safety rules.
Safety rules
■
Do only maintenance procedures that are included in the User Manual.
■
Do not remove screws, hardware or covers, unless you are told to in the User
Manual.
■
Do not remove any covers from the machine. Refer to the User Manual for the
correct procedure about opening the top covers.
■
Do not change fuses in the machine. Call your service engineer.
■
Do not modify the machine. A modified machine is not safe to operate. The
product warranty is cancelled if you modify the machine.
■
Do not change or adjust the safety interlock switches fitted to the machine.
■
Do not use the machine if the machine makes unusual noises. Turn off the
machine. Disconnect the machine from the main power supply. Call your service
engineer.
Installation
■
Only an approved service engineer must install the machine.
■
Only connect the machine to an approved mains supply with a good earth
connection and a circuit breaker. The correct machine voltage is shown on the
label at the mains power supply input on the rear of the machine. If the machine
is connected to the wrong supply, the warranty is cancelled.
■
Make sure there is enough work area around the machine.
■
Install the machine on a level floor.
■
Use caution when you move the machine. The machine is heavy.
Trimmer Blade
This machine contains a power driven trimmer blade. When the machine is operated,
you must follow the safety rules in this document and in the User Manual.
The LCD Screen
Clean the touch screen with a clean, dry cloth. Never use abrasive materials or
chemicals to clean the screen. Gentle pressure with a clean, dry cloth is enough to
remove fingerprints. Do not use excessive force.
