During the use of high-pres-
sure cleaners aerosols can
develop. Inhaling aerosols
can cause health damage.
The employer is obligated to
carry out a risk assessment in
order to establish necessary
protective measures against
inhaling aerosols depending
on the surface to be cleaned
and the surroundings.
Respirators of the category
FFP2 or higher are suitable
for the protection against
aqueous aerosols.

The engine is to be brought to a
standstill and the appliance is to
be fastened properly during
transportation.

Switch off the appliance and,
in case of appliances connect-
ed to the mains, pull out the
power cord before cleaning
and performing any mainte-
nance tasks on the machine.

Relieve the high pressure
system of all pressure prior to
all work on the appliance and
the accessories.

be carried out by approved
customer service outlets or
experts in this field who are
familiar with the respective
safety regulations.

regulations (for e.g. the fol-
lowing are applicable in Ger-
