Step 4 Insert the remaining drive pins from the
opposite side of armature hub through
remaining holes.
Note: Apply grade 290 Loctite Sealant
on the threads of all drive pins.

Step 5 Holding the pins in position, place the
armature hub over one armature.
Make sure the straight springs on the ar ma -
ture bosses fit into the grooves in the arma-
ture hub.

Step 1 Place straight springs over armature bosses
on back side of both armatures (Figure 6).
Step 2 Compress conical spring against retainer
ring by sliding detent spring toward head of
pin. (All pins). (Figure 7)
Step 3 Insert half of the compressed drive pins
through the ar ma ture hub. The threaded end
of the pins must come through on the side
of the hub with grooves around the holes.
