Ties as crosspoints

Displays ties as a matrix of inputs and outputs (figure 5-16).

Ties that have been made are indicated as amber (video and audio), green

(video only), and red (audio only) boxes. Ties that will take effect when you

click on the Take button are indicated by +. Ties that will be broken when you

click on the Take button are indicated by –.

Frequency read options

Allows you to set the input signal detection (DSVP)

feature as follows:
• To never sample and display the sync or no sync status

(set this option to None).

• To automatically refresh the display

(set this option to Automatically every 10 seconds).

• To sample the sync and update the display whenever you make a

configuration change (set this option to On demand or by refresh).

Limit ties to same group

Allows you to limit the creation of ties using the

program to inputs and outputs that are in the same group (similar to front

panel operation).

Icons in I/O boxes

Erases any numbers in the I/O boxes in the

Control Program window (figure 5-6). You can place icons in the

boxes.

Numbers in I/O boxes

Erases any icons in the I/O boxes in the

Control Program window and fills each box with the associated

input or output number.

Catch FPC/others changes

When checked, sets the switcher to report all

configuration and setting changes to the Remote RS-232/RS-422 or Ethernet

connection that turned this selection on. These reports allow the Matrix

Switchers Control Program to track the changes that occur in the switcher’s

configuration and settings, whether commanded via the front panel, the

RS-232/RS-422 port, or the LAN port.
