For information about how the track-meter displays operate when you are working
at a main screen, refer to pages 25 and 144.
Procedure
Be sure that you have selected the song containing the track(s) that you want to set up.
1. Press TRACK SET | MAIN to enter this job.
▼ The screen appears as follows. The bank number and meter bracket indicate the
currently selected track (the last track whose pad you pressed). The left value shows
the track’s main knob function; the right value shows its main pad function. The left
value is flashing, indicating that you can change the setting by turning the dial.
2. If necessary, change the track selection by pressing the appropriate bank selector and
pad.
3. To set the main knob function, press the corresponding knob-function key. To set the
main pad function, press the corresponding pad-function key.
As an alternative, you can change these settings using the
and kbuttons and
the dial. Use the or button to select either the knob setting or the pad set-
ting (so that the value is flashing on the screen), and then turn the dial as necessary
to move to the desired setting. If you wish to set the pad function to NONE (on
AUDIO IN or MASTER track only), then you must use the dial-entry method.
4. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 as necessary to review and change settings on all tracks you are
interested in.
5. Press [OK] or [CANCEL] to return to the main screen.
