Telephone Set Up
You can customize the following settings to suit your needs.
Rings to Answer Selects the number of rings
before the unit answers.
Message Length Sets the length of time allowed
for incoming messages.
Recording Quality Sets the recording quality
between standard (STD) and
long play (LONG).
Remote Access Set your 3-digit code used for
remote access to the unit.
Display Contrast Selects the display contrast.
Local Area Code Sets your local area code for Dial Back.
Tone/pulse Dialing Sets the phone for tone or pulse dialing.
Set Day
Sets the day.
Time/Date
Sets the time and date.
Language
Selects English, French or Spanish.
Setting the Rings to Answer
This setting allows you to set the number of rings before the unit answers a call.
You can choose from 2-8 or Toll Saver (see “Toll Saver.”)
1. Press and release the
MENU button. The screen displays RING TO ANSWER.
The unit announces, Setup Menu. Use SKIP to change setting. Press MENU
to save a setting.
2. Use
SKIP or REPEAT for the desired setting (2-8, Toll Saver).
3. When finished, press
MENU to confirm.
Note: To skip to the next setting, press MENU. To exit setup, press EXIT.
