ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL CHECK

Drive the machine on a solid and level ground, then
engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
B-C) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove
it.
Open the engine hood (5, Fig. F).

WARNING!
The coolant line is pressurized; do not perform
any check until the engine has cooled down
and, even if the engine is cold, pay careful
attention when opening the plug (1, Fig. AD) of
the tank (2).

Check that the coolant level in the tank (2, Fig. AD) is
between the minimum and maximum marks, as shown
in the Diesel Engine Manual. If necessary, unscrew the
plug (1, Fig. AD) and top up.
Coolant components:

50% of AGIP antifreeze
50% of water

After top up, tighten the plug (1, Fig. AD).
Close the engine hood (5, Fig. F).

FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT

Drive the machine on a solid and level ground.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
B-C) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove
it.
Engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Open the engine hood (5, Fig. F) and fasten it with the
support rod (6, Fig. F).
Replace the fuel fi lter as shown in the Diesel Engine
Manual.
Close the engine hood (5, Fig. F).

CAB AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT (*)

(*) Only for machines equipped with cab and climate

control system

Drive the machine on a solid and level ground.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
B-C) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove
it.
Engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Inside the cab, remove the screws (1, Fig. AE), then
remove the panel (2).
Unscrew the knobs (1, Fig. AF) and remove the panel
(2).
Remove the cab air fi lter (1, Fig. AG).
Install the new fi lter (1, Fig. AG) with the arrows (2)
pointing in the direction shown in the fi gure (direction of
the air fl ow).
Perform steps 3 and 4 in the reverse order.

FUSE REPLACEMENT

Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
Turn the ignition key (17, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the
end of stroke, then remove it.
Remove the transparent cover of the fuse box (23 or 24,
Fig. B-C) and replace the relevant fuse. For fuse values
and functions, see Electrical Fuses paragraph.
Install the transparent cover of the fuse box (23 or 24,
Fig. B-C).

SAFETY FUNCTIONS

The machine is equipped with the following safety functions.

REVERSE GEAR BUZZER (OPTIONAL)

The machine is equipped with a sensor and a buzzer to
indicate that the machine is moving in reverse.

SENSOR FOR ENGINE START-UP INHIBITION
WHEN THE DRIVE PEDAL IS PRESSED

The machine is equipped with a sensor that do not allow for
engine start up when the drive pedal is pressed.

SENSOR FOR ENGINE START-UP INHIBITION
WHEN THE OPERATOR IS NOT ON THE
DRIVER'S SEAT

The machine is equipped with a sensor that do not allow for
engine start up when the operator is not on the driver's seat.
