CLOSED POCKET FILTER REPLACEMENT
To replace the closed pocket fi lter perform the following
procedure:
Prepare the machine, as shown in After Using the
Machine paragraph.
Remove the hopper hood (1, Fig. F) by unscrewing the
mounting knob (58, Fig. E).
Remove the hopper hood (1, Fig. H) by unscrewing six
mounting screws (2, Fig. G).
Remove six screws (1, Fig. J), then remove three
mounting plates of the closed pocket fi lter (2, Fig. J).
Lift the closed pocket fi lter (1, Fig. L), disconnect the fi lter
shaker motor cable (2) and replace the fi lter.
Perform steps 2, 3, 4 and 5 in the reverse order.
NOTE
Perform the same procedure for cleaning.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OIL LEVEL CHECK
Engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Open the driver's seat hood (8, Fig. F).
Using the indicator (11, Fig. F), check that the oil level in
the tank is between the MIN and MAX marks.
If necessary, remove the plug (41, Fig. E) and top up. For
the types of oil to be used, see Technical Data chapter.
NOTE
Top up by using the same type of oil that is in the
tank.
Screw the plug (41, Fig. E).
Close the driver's seat hood (8, Fig. F).
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OIL FILTER
REPLACEMENT
WARNING!
Hydraulic system oil is highly corrosive, wear
rubber gloves.
Engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Open the driver's seat hood (8, Fig. F).
Place a container, which is suitable to collect oil, on the
right side of the rear wheel (37, Fig. E), fl ush with the
hydraulic system oil drain pug (42, Fig. E).
Unscrew and remove the plug (42, Fig. E), then drain the
oil from the hydraulic system completely.
When draining is completed, screw down the plug (42,
Fig. E).
Remove the oil tank cover (59, Fig. E).
Unscrew two suction fi lters (40, Fig. E) with a D50 key
and replace them.
Clean the oil tank (39, Fig. E) in the seating area of the
cover (59, Fig. E). Then fasten the cover with sealant
and screws.
Pour in the oil which has been removed.
WARNING!
The oil and fi lters should be disposed of
properly according to the environmental laws
in force.

WARNING!
Hydraulic system oil is highly corrosive, wear
rubber gloves.
Engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Open the driver's seat hood (8, Fig. F).
Place a container, which is suitable to collect oil, on the
right side of the rear wheel (37, Fig. E), fl ush with the
hydraulic system oil drain pug (42, Fig. E).
Unscrew and remove the plug (42, Fig. E), then drain the
oil from the hydraulic system completely.
When draining is completed, screw down the plug (42,
Fig. E).
Remove the oil tank cover (59, Fig. E).
Unscrew two suction fi lters (40, Fig. E) as shown in the
relevant paragraph.
Clean the oil tank (39, Fig. E) in the seating area of the
cover (59, Fig. E). Then fasten the cover with sealant
and screws.
Pour in oil of the same type or equivalent (See Technical
Data paragraph).
WARNING!
The oil and fi lters should be disposed of
properly according to the environmental laws
in force.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OIL COOLER FIN
CLEANING CHECK
WARNING!
Protect body parts (eyes, hair, hands, etc.)
properly, when performing cleaning procedures
using compressed air or water gun.
Drive the machine on a solid and level ground, then
engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
B-C) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove
it.
Open the driver's seat hood (8, Fig. F).
Clean the hydraulic system oil cooler fi ns (48, Fig. E)
with compressed air (maximum 6 Bar). If necessary,
point the compressed air in the opposite direction of the
cooling air.
Inside the radiator (48, Fig. E), check that the fan turns
freely.
Perform steps 3 to 6 in the reverse order.
