Configuration Error Messages
Message Action Condition
DSU Agg Exceeded
•
TDM mode: the sum of the port speeds
exceeds the DDS speed.
•
MCMP mode: the sum of the port speeds
exceeds 48 kbps.
Set configuration option Rate(Kbps) to a
higher speed or lower one or more port
speeds with configuration option PrtSp(Kbps).
DSU ShareGp Spds DSU port speeds in a sharing group do not
match. Use configuration option PrtSp(Kbps) to set
both ports to the same port speed.
DSU Undersp Reqd TDM mode: the sum of the ports is equal to the
DDS speed and either:
1. There is more than one port active that is
not in the same sharing group, or
2. Diagnostics set to NonDisruptive with no
underspeed port.
1. Select an underspeed port.
2. Change configuration option Diag Type to
Disr, Mixed or None or use the PrtSp
configuration submenu to select an
underspeed port and configuration option
2nd Ch(bps) for the diagnostic speed.
Elast Not Valid Bridge mode: an attempt was made to
configure a DSU as an extended bridge with:
•
Receive elastic store turned ON at one or
more of the active bridge ports, or
•
The Bridge Rate configuration option not set
to
=DSU.
•
Disable configuration option RxElasStor for
each of the active bridge ports.
•
Configuration option Bridge Rate must be
set to =DSU when TxElasStor is enabled.
FEP Async diff Two ports with FEP port-sharing must have
both ports set either to asynchronous or
synchronous. Use configuration option Async
→
Sync to set
the ports.
FEP Prt Underspd One of two ports in an FEP port-sharing group
was chosen for the underspeed port. Select an underspeed port that is not in an
FEP port-sharing group.
FEP&ShrDv Incmpt TDM or MCMP mode: an attempt was made to
place a port into both a digital-sharing group
and an FEP port-sharing group. Select which of the groups is to have the port
included. Use MCMP Setup configuration
options to set Share DevA or P
n /n FEP Sh.
FEP Speeds diff TDM or MCMP mode: two ports in the FEP
port-sharing group are assigned different
speeds. Set all ports in the port-sharing group to the
same speed by using the configuration option
PrtSp(Kbps) for the DSU or DBM.
G2Trib Inv MCMP Diagnostic general configuration option Position
is set to G2Trib which is invalid with MCMP. Set configuration option Position to Cntrl or
Trib.
Incmpt Diag Mode Mixed diagnostics is incompatible with EBrdg or
MCMP mode. Use configuration option Diag Type to change
diagnostic setting.
Inval BridgeRate Bridge mode: MUX function set to EBrdg with
Bridge rate set to =DSU. Change configuration option Bridge Rate to a
valid data rate or set MUX Funct to CBrdg.
