The feed belt tension and tracking has been set at the
factory. However, adjust the feed belt tension and
tracking if you notice that your feed belt is slipping or is
tracking off center and loading up against the positioning
wheels (
Figure 46) under the conveyor table, you must .
To adjust the feed belt tension and tracking, do these
steps:
1. Turn the feed belt tension and tracking bolts equal
amounts from side-to-side and set the belt tension
so it is snug and will not slip when sanding at a
maximum load.
2. Start the conveyor.
3. Turn the feed belt tension and tracking bolt to
position the feed belt roller evenly on each side.

—If the conveyor tracks to the right, turn the rig

tension and tracking bolt clockwise approximately in

turn increments.

If the conveyor tracks to the left, turn the left-side
tension and tracking bolt clockwise in ap
proximately

4
turn increments.
4. Run the feed belt for at least three minutes to
determine if the tracking is correct and the tension
stays the same.
5. Repeat steps as required to achieve the correct
tension and tracking.

secured and away from moving parts.
